Meet Our Staff

Legal Assistants:

Yvonne Quarterman, Legal Assistant
Yvonne, a so-called military brat, was born abroad and grew up in Connecticut. After graduating high school and attending UConn, she spent six years as a training instructor in the United States Army Reserves before relocating to Atlanta over twenty years ago with her two children, making her a self-proclaimed "Northern Peach". Despite many who have argued that you cannot have two favorite teams, she is a true Patriots AND Falcons fan and she enjoys a variety of interests including spending time with her family, cooking for her loved ones, sightseeing, exploring outdoors, reading and she is currently in the process of penning her first "Dramedy" for your future reading enjoyment.

Hassan High, Legal Assistant
Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, on September 25th. Graduated from the University of South Florida. Graduated from Clayton State University (paralegal studies) and has been with GSL since October of 2005. He previously worked as a Museum Specialist at the Smithsonian Institution and as a graphic studio artist/manager in Washington, D.C. before moving to Atlanta. Hassan likes history, music, art, and cooking. His son will graduate from the University of Georgia in December with a degree in music performance, and his daughter is a pre-law student at Georgia State University and is a member of Zeta Tau Alpha.

Denise Reed, Legal Assistant
Denise was raised in Shaker Heights, Ohio. Denise obtained her Associates Degree in Applied Science for Office Administration at Tri-C Community College in Cleveland, Ohio, obtained her legal secretary certificate at MTI Business School in Cleveland, Ohio and is currently attending Kaplan University on-line for her Bachelor Degree in Paralegal Studies, where she carries a 3.62 GPA. Denise enjoys working on political campaigns and encouraging, assisting and being an example to her young family members to help them to excel in academics. She also likes to play chess. Denise has a grandson who graduated from Brush High School in Ohio this year and will be playing football for his college in Minnesota and a niece who graduated from the University of Dayton in Ohio this year with a 3.998 GPA, and who will be attending law school at Ohio State.


Rhonda Heard, Receptionist
Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Rhonda attended Atlanta Junior College majoring in Early Childhood Education. She enjoys cooking and baking for family and friends, and loves meeting and greeting people—whether it’s at work or in the grocery store. Rhonda has three daughters, one son, and a granddaughter. Her oldest daughter is a pharmacist at a children hospital in Columbia South Carolina, her middle daughter is a claim adjuster at one of the largest insurance company in Atlanta, her youngest daughter is in her last year of high school, where after graduation in 2017 she planning to attend Mortuary School, and her son is in his first year of middle school. Rhonda has been married to her wonderful husband for sixteen years and Rhonda has been with GSL as a Receptionist/Legal Assistant since 2008.
