Kidnapping victim in hospital after Dodge County car accident

All too often, people will act first without considering the legal and criminal consequences that can come from driving recklessly and taking other unwise actions. It’s especially sad when a child is hurt as a result of someone else’s negligence. Laws exist to hold people liable for injuring others, and also to hopefully discourage them from making irresponsible decisions in the first place. Unfortunately, these laws don’t always prevent injuries and accidents.

Laws in Georgia exist to protect people from dangerous property conditions and hopefully prevent an accident. If someone is hurt as a result of property owner negligence, the injured person has the right to seek compensation for his or her medical expenses. Local and state legal authorities would much rather keep a dangerous condition from happening instead, which is why property owners must adhere to a set of rules regarding their property and equipment.

A helmet that's federally regulated for safety can greatly reduce the chance of serious injury or death from a head impact . However, there's a specific group of helmets that is growing in popularity, and many bikers may not even realize they offer little to no protection during a crash.
