Man ejected from car after hitting tractor-trailer

Drivers in Fulton County are likely aware of what damages an accident can cause. One single car collision may leave a driver suffering from painful or debilitating injury, increased cost of insurance or large medical and possibly legal costs. When combined, these hurdles can make dealing with a severe accident very difficult.

One man may be experiencing some of these difficulties after colliding with a tractor-trailer. The man, a 24 year old driver heading down the westbound lane of the freeway, has ended up in critical condition. It is possible that his injuries were worse than they could have been, and this is due to the fact that the man was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the accident and was thus ejected from his car upon impact. He is currently in the hospital.

The driver of the tractor-trailer reportedly did not suffer from any injuries. While police are still investigating the accident, it seems as though the 24 year old was attempting to overcorrect his steering after veering to the right of the road. When trying to correct his mistake, he ended up striking the oncoming truck, leading to his ejection and subsequent injuries.

Unfortunately, it is impossible to completely predict whether or not an accident will occur while driving. However, it is possible to handle the aftermath in a way that won’t lead to more damages later down the road. Drivers who end up in similar situations may therefore benefit from contacting an attorney for aid.
